Chris Mason is an accomplished mid-career artist who works across a range of mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics and sculpture. His practice involves extensive research and a meticulous approach, with a penchant for creating evocative voluptuous female forms and reticulated pythons. Mason has worked at Arts Project since 1997 and presented solo exhibitions at Darren Knight Gallery in Sydney and Arts Project Australia in Melbourne. He has shown in national and international group exhibitions and has work in the National Gallery of Australia, State Library of Victoria and National Gallery of Victoria, as well as private collections worldwide.
